Design & Photography

Ian's design work has typically been as part of broader projects he has worked on, and is another example of how he can adapt his skills to fulfil all the required roles in his projects. Ian has designed and built websites (such as this one) and advised bodies including the BBC Nottingham Students website and the International Office of the The University of Central England. He has also designed CD sleeves, business cards, programmes for live events, and the official 'Living at U.C.E. Perry Barr' booklet.

Ian has varied experience with Photoshop and Dreamweaver as well as several similar programs and all MS-Office systems. His work takes a keen interest in distinctive forms and shapes and favours durable styles and colour schemes. IQK can also arrange for the photography for the project if required and arrange preferential rates for any shoots at IQK Studios. In his own photography, Ian takes an interest in light and the connection between people and their environment - but of course his style can be adapted to your requirements without any compromise to quality. IQK can offer to beat the typical industry rates for most modest-scale design or photography projects (up to the length of a short leaflet or twenty shots ready for use), and also to make arrangements for affordable printing if required. In return the client will need to provide the content and their principal aims for the design from the outset, and agree to a few simple points (not to continually change their mind, etc!).
