Ian has been appointed as Communications and Member Services Coordinator for the Producers' Forum, an organisation supporting and promoting the interests of filmmakers and other content makers outside London. Ian's role is to coordinate the Forum website, social media and mailouts, as well as supporting the Board and proposing new opportunities. 2011 finds Ian promoting a wide body of new material, including a proposed partnership with Studio B15 to make dozens of his scripts as short films for the internet. Studio B15 has invited Ian to make a large body of videos for the web with them, over at least 12 months. This venture is currently preparing demo videos, to get approval from the organisation's board for the venture. With that approval, IQK proposes to make a substantial body of short pieces aimed at web audiences, including eyecatching series and one-offs.
FriendlyWebStarter, IQK's web design partnership with Scardanelli Productions, has now created user-friendly websites for a growing number of clients in the creative sector and beyond. FriendlyWebStarter puts its clients in complete control of their website, able to manage and add content and new material howver they choose, all for just £300 per site.
