Ian has recently been working as a Script Editor or Story Consultant to help develop three separate feature film projects and a television comedy-drama, one of which may be beginning filming imminently.
IQK has been commissioned to create a new website for Community Regeneration Partnership Ltd. The site will be IQK's first application of WordPress, at www.crp-ltd.co.uk.
IQK will soon provide news of how to see Ian's first produced short film. It's a reworking of his script One-Way Battle of the Sexes, directed by Scarlet Scardanelli, with an eyeopening new twist.
Screen WM have supported Ian's writing with a bursary to attend Screenwriters' Festival 2008, where he attended talks and seminars with movers and shakers in UK and international film and TV drama and made new connections.

Ian is now a script reader for SCRIPT, the agency for creative writers in the West Midlands. Submit your work through http://scriptonline.net for £35 to have your radio (or other) script read and advised upon by Ian. Ian's first reading resulted in the following response to Script: "Would you please be so kind as to pass on my grateful thanks for such excellent analysis and comprehensive advice."
Ian has now written over 100 episodes of BBC Asian Network series Silver Street, following on from his special week set among refugees in Pakistan (broadcast on September 20th-26th). Episodes are broadcast on weekdays at 1.30pm with an omnibus Sundays at 4pm. All episodes are available on the BBC's iPlayer for 7 days afterwards, and as a podcast - links are on the Silver Street homepage.
