Ian was the presenter of the weekly broadcast of award-winning student soap opera Lenton Boulevard on URN 1350, delivering specially written voiceovers introducing the programme and connecting it to its audience, as well as delivering credits and playing music to accompany the programme (download an MP3 sampler, 9MB, and his demo, 5.4MB). Ian also presented his own music programme at the station, delivering his eclectic mix of old and new music in an informative but deadpan style. He has also presented and made current affairs interviews at Castle Vale Community Radio. |

Ian gained extensive experience in delivering informative material in innovative ways in his degree, often producing his finest work in this area on his way to attaining First Class Honours from The University of Nottingham - one tutor's marking sheet comments 'This was undoubtedly first class work, and refreshingly unexpected in style despite its very clear grounding in detailed and complex engagement with theory'. Building upon this work, Ian has taken classes in an innercity primary school and a prison, engaging with ever wider audiences including many 'hard to reach' groups. |

From acting and presenting radio programmes and interviews, and from academic presentations, job interviews and other situations, Ian has built up wideranging experience of combining Powerpoint presentations, slideshows, music, performance, OHP and other possible elements to make the most effective presentations possible for the brief. |
