One-way Battle of the Sexes (or, How Men Get Away With It)   This first 'play to order' was composed in a matter of hours for a friend and his mates to perform at his leaving party in Munich after two years living there. The brief was simple and effective: explore the differences of the sexes in a five-minute play suitable to be performed in their living room with up to four characters. IQK's Ian Kennedy was so pleased with the result that he has posted online on this website to download (Click here - PDF format, 57KB). In the end the play successfully epitomised his entire perspective upon the differences of the sexes in five minutes of lively good fun.

  • For new original drama for your purposes, Ian charges £350 per ten minutes of script produced (depending on how much additional time it may require to establish what is required). This is less than his typical BBC pay and does not apply to pre-existing series or drama strands, whose rates will already be established and non-negotiable.
  • For other work, Ian charges £350 per 1000 words or thirty lines of poetry.
